Pumpkins & Music class

We took an early trip to the pumpkin patch last weekend. It was a perfect autumn day, couldn't have asked for better weather! The poor pumpkins took a beating with all the rain we got this year, so I have a feeling all the good ones wont stick around for too much longer! Lily had a ball, anything outside is a good time in her eyes. She hasn't quite mastered saying 'pumpkin' - but she tries, & can pick one out of a line-up. OH! She learned a new letter this week too, 'C' ! So now she knows just about five letters, & can also point them out in words & books. Not to mention her list of words that is rapidly growing! She needs practice with her "B" & "P" sounds, but we just found that out today, so it's something to work on. The "B" should be fairly easy considering she just got her 1st baby doll (THANK YOU Grandma!!) & LOVES it to pieces.

Lily has been learning new signs DAILY. 'Ball' was yesterday, and now 'duck' too! (Quack quack!) We are enrolled in an AWESOME music class, that meets weekly (right up the road from our house!) The teacher is so much fun! She sings & signs and keeps us on our toes! Next month we are starting another class (SO excited) its an ASL class/playgroup, also right up the road!!!

We had a few visitors over the past few weeks, & some evaluations done. Met some really helpful people, tomorrow (10.13.11) I get to hear the results of all the tests & evaluations from over the past few weeks. We have to make a ear nose and throat specialist appointment (After I find one), to rule out any deafness (Yeah, OK sure if you say so...) & to make sure she has no fluid in her ears.

This post was written last week so , since then we have visited quite a FEW pumpkin patches & even the Jack-o-lantern spectacular! I have so many pictures to share, but that will be a whole new entry later on today, sit tight! :D

xoxo
