Lilith's great-grandma Santa Barbra's 90th birthday just recently came & went. My aunt flew in from Kentucky on x-mas day for the special occasion! We were ready to head to Connecticut when the night before our departure Aunt P got violently ill with the 48hour stomach bug. At the time we didn't know it was a 48hour bug so we left the next morning expecting to pick her up at the T in New Haven the following day. So we watched Paige's hockey team get beaten by canooks then off to the hotel for some sleep. The next morning we woke up to get ready to go see great grandma, & Daniel started puking... We opted to leave his germ ridden self at the hotel so as not to get Lilith or grandma sick for obvious reasons. So the girls piled in the van & off to grandma's we went! --RIGHT before we got there my mom said shes felt like she was going to puke. We made it inside grandmas house for all of 12minutes when she ran outside. AND OUTSIDE she stayed... bundled up in a blanket in her van :( We stayed & visited with grandma for as long as we could but we had to get mom back to the hotel ASAP. So i had to drive her stupid minivan back to the hotel (I HATE driving her van, for whatever reason it feels like i'm behind the wheel of a school bus!) So we get back, & i come to the conclusion we are NOT STAYING in the same room with TWO sick people, no way! So we got another room, keeping the germy folk quarantine.
So far So good.
Until 1:00am rolls around & my sister is sprinting for the bathroom.
She is later thrown into quarantine as well.
& then there was TWO...
The next 48hours was FILLED with Lysol, hand sanitizer & disinfecting EVERYTHING. Not to mention anxiety up the ying yang. Somehow someway we made it threw & didn't catch that nasty bug. We were VERY lucky to have my (AMAZING) uncle, drive us back to Rhode Island so we didnt have to ride in the "PIT STOP PUKE VAN" !
All in all it was a lame "vacation" filled with vomit.
But here are some adorable pix from the hotel <3
This video is our new "game"- We both just say "ahhhh"
until one of us laughs...
It's normally me... but
She was laughing so hard shes crying.
This went on for at least TWO hours.
I love my Daughter <3
