Vacation.

Mommy & Daddy are going camping in Maine. Grandma offered to take Lily (Ha, like I even had to ask.) So today I set up our tent to clean it, & make it smell ... not like a basement. Lily helped, & we played in the tent for a while after. This kid LOVES being outside. Here are some photos:

^ Not too sure what to do when the wind blew...
^ Accidental shot #1...
 ^Accidental shot #2...stupid camera strap.
^This photo melts my heart- I love my little monster.
^ Trying to decide to bail or not.
^Wind blew & she gets all excited.
 ^ Investigating per usual.
^ Being cranky THANKS to three teeth making their move!

May milestones!

Fifteen months, one week, & five days later she is weighing in at just about TWENTY pounds!

-Still my little peanut, she swims in 12month clothes.
- Sleeps threw the night (& has been for a VERY long time)
-Binky is a night/nap time friend (it never leaves her crib) We only have 3 left!
-Bottles are also on the way out the door, she gets one at bedtime.
-Mastered 'couch-surfing'
-Did pee-pee on the potty last monday for the 1st time! So proud!
-New found L-O-V-E for Elmo.
-Only 3 colds in her life (Only one needed a visit to her pedi!)
-We spend a lot of time outside exploring our HUGE yard.
- She is really into her mega blocks this week.
-She 'reads' mama books now.
-Also mastered the art of a tantrum... I sometimes have to leave the room because she is so dramatic and I can't help but laugh. I have sparked a few tantrums just signing 'no' to her.
-We still have not given her meat.
-No, we do not plan to raise her as a vegetarian.
-She can point out your nose when asked.
-She can say mama, dada, hooray, & hi.
-LOVES animals (even giant overgrown puppies!)
-Still very big into drawing & music.
-We roll the ball back and forth, shes shockingly coordinated.
-Constantly babbling & talking to anyone who will listen.
-She brushes her hair for mommy after her bath.
 --------------------------------
We are so lucky to have such a beautiful, healthy, talented little punkin'!
The past few weeks she has been out of character due to her,
'mean old teeth' as Grandma would call them.
NORMALLY she is a bubbly happy-go-lucky ball of energy.

Everyday it's getting nicer & one day closer to summer!
I honestly cant wait to share it with her & watch her grow even more.

^We went to visit Grandma & Grandpa last week^

^Playing X-box with daddy ♥ ^
(Pardon the crappy quality it was bedtime & my real camera was ASLEEP!)

^ Getting into trouble. ^

All the pictures from this post
(minus the 1st & last were taken with D's camera)
Sorry Uncle D, I HATE your camera.
I'm super spoiled with my Canon T3i!
As much as I miss a point & shoot the quality is garbage!

We have to be up & out at SEVENam tomorrow.
Mini roadtrip to say goodbye to MY grandma.
I'm really glad she got to meet Lilith before she passed.

♥
Until next time,
-The luckiest mami on earth.

P.S. I updated the tooth chart. :]

Viral Vacation

Lilith's great-grandma Santa Barbra's 90th birthday just recently came & went. My aunt flew in from Kentucky on x-mas day for the special occasion! We were ready to head to Connecticut when the night before our departure Aunt P got violently ill with the 48hour stomach bug. At the time we didn't know it was a 48hour bug so we left the next morning expecting to pick her up at the T in New Haven the following day. So we watched Paige's hockey team get beaten by canooks then off to the hotel for some sleep. The next morning we woke up to get ready to go see great grandma, & Daniel started puking... We opted to leave his germ ridden self at the hotel so as not to get Lilith or grandma sick for obvious reasons. So the girls piled in the van & off to grandma's we went!  --RIGHT before we got there my mom said shes felt like she was going to puke. We made it inside grandmas house for all of 12minutes when she ran outside. AND OUTSIDE she stayed... bundled up in a blanket in her van :( We stayed & visited with grandma for as long as we could but we had to get mom back to the hotel ASAP. So i had to drive her stupid minivan back to the hotel (I HATE driving her van, for whatever reason it feels like i'm behind the wheel of a school bus!) So we get back, & i come to the conclusion we are NOT STAYING in the same room with TWO sick people, no way! So we got another room, keeping the germy folk quarantine.
 So far So good.
Until 1:00am rolls around & my sister is sprinting for the bathroom.
She is later thrown into quarantine as well.
& then there was TWO...
The next 48hours was FILLED with Lysol, hand sanitizer & disinfecting EVERYTHING.  Not to mention anxiety up the ying yang. Somehow someway we made it threw & didn't catch that nasty bug. We were VERY lucky to have my (AMAZING) uncle, drive us back to Rhode Island so we didnt have to ride in the "PIT STOP PUKE VAN" !
All in all it was a lame "vacation" filled with vomit.
But here are some adorable pix from the hotel <3

This video is our new "game"- We both just say "ahhhh"
until one of us laughs...
It's normally me... but
She was laughing so hard shes crying.
This went on for at least TWO hours.
I love my Daughter <3

1st roadtrip!

She was amazing, for the entire time. Being in a strange car [a rental] , putting up with all the stop & go, being woken up by passing motorcycles in traffic, & staying @ a hotel for her very 1st time. I'm so happy we got to go on this little adventure. Here are a few photos from our journey... <3
