20months ago I had a baby...

Yesterday marked the 1st day of FALL & Lilith turned TWENTY months old!
Exactly ONE week from today is OCTOBER!

I know I said I would post the other day during nap time, but the wrath of her booster shots got the best of us. We had a hellish few days.  A fever of 102, started around 3am on Wednesday morning. To add to the chaos that already existed- her bottom canines popped threw. On the brighter side shes been back to her normal awesome self as of yesterday, & her bottom fangs are ADORABLE!!

In other news my cat still out weighs Lilith. At her Dr. on Tuesday she weighed in at 19 pounds 8 ounces. My daughter is a PEANUT! Her pediatrician isn't worried about it, but wants me to add some calories to her diet. Both her father & I were skinny children, and it's just in her genes. We tried Pediasure & she choked down about 1/2 of it (making faces the entire time). No amount of powder NesQuick will make her drink that! I've been adding olive oil to her food & giving her more potatoes. It's hard to fatten up a toddler without getting the addicted to sweets or junk food. Yesterday she ate a whole avocado for lunch, making me one happy mama! Shes really weird about lunch, she NEVER wants it. Big breakfast & a giant dinner, but lunch is always a struggle.

I have been making a list of Lilith's vocabulary. It's growing wayy too fast. Not just words but now letters too. She can recognize some letter, & pick them out of a line-up, & tell me what they are. When we sing the ABC's she knows certain clusters of letters. I think here favorite is 'Z' !  I was told by a specialist last week she is advanced in the reading department & is well beyond a majority of her peers. She also stressed that we should take special interest & harness this gift, because she is on the road to being a very early reader.

Tomorrow we are going to a town fair. Deep in the woods, well past grandma's house! There are all kinds of events, contests, & horse drawn wagon rides. My two main reasons for going are to see Burt the raccoon who uses puppetry, American Sign Language, & storytelling! My other reason is I had entered a digital photo contest & got an e-mail stating one of my photos had placed in the contest! Oh & I really want to take Lil on a horse drawn wagon ride!

OK enough words, on to the pictures!
Coloring (in an medium) is getting intense. Crayons, colored pencils, pens, markers, chalk, etc.
Shes starting to really get into drawing. -They get more & more intricate with every masterpiece.
That face turned into the worlds largest yawn.

xoxo
